Hamburg honours Nobel peace prize winner Professor Mohammad Yunus

On February, 23rd, the city of Hamburg paid tribute to achievements from Bangladesh and Bengali culture in the form of an event organized by the association Entwicklungsforum Bangladesh e.V.(development forum) and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. On the occasion of the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2006 to Professor Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Bank for their efforts to create economic and social development from below both experts and the public discussed the impact of Yunus´ work in the premises of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
