Knowledge is Power - Of all the intangible assets, trade secrets are the most intangible, most valuable and most prone to theft of all. Trade secrets gain economic importance on a worldwide scale. They drive the competitive advantage and shareholder value of any corporation.
However, whilst basic efforts at a definition are similar, conceptual differences do exist.
