Living in remote landscapes
I this talk I provide unique insides to life and work on remote research stations (desert and polar stations). Most of us cannot imagine to life in a silent, lonely place under harsh conditions. Most of us do not have the experience how it is to life hundreds of miles away from the next settlement in the middle of nowhere and only dedicated to one thing: research. I would love to share this piece of very fascinating and thrilling life experience with the audience on a research station. In addition I will talk about my biggest adventure as researcher and how the natives saved my life and changed my view of the world.
