Content:

Contract and Claim management is an integral part of an effective risk and opportunity management. They are aimed at ensuring that the project result is protected against negative impacts by assuming a step-by-step approach that reaches from the creation of a proposal to the expiry of the warranty period. Additionally, the aim is to optimize project results as well as to generate new business on the basis of completed projects. With this in mind, participants are supposed to be prepared at an early stage to deal with any problem they might incur within their contractual interaction with the customer or the suppliers.

The following fields form an essential part of the topics at hand:

- Basic principles of contract-, claim- and change management
- Contract awareness of your team
- Methods of claim identification
- Design of claim strategies
- Preparation for claim-negotiation
