This ranking is not about evaluating donations to the CEO´s country club or his patronage of the local opera house. These things have nothing to do with the company´s social responsibility - indeed, just the opposite is true. Our aim has consistently been to offer a comparative assessment of the companies´ responsibility with respect to their employees, the environment, society and the capital entrusted to them by shareholders.
