Leadership for Expat Managers: How to lead local Personnel

This event is a consulting-style workshop and gives executives the opportunity to draw upon the rich China experience of the faculty and to discuss their specific challenges in the area of intercultural management and leadership, e.g. creating a culture of accountability, conflict management, overcoming cultural gaps in corporate culture, building trust within multicultural teams, employee motivation, appropriate adaptation of leadership and communication style to the Chinese envronment, and other issues related to organizational development.

Participants will be introduced to tools and competency models in the areas of intercultural competencies, leadership, personality development and team development.

Delegates earlier participating with this workshop reguarly held in Shanghai come from major European manufacturing enterprises.

This or similar workshops can also be conducted in-house in Europe to improve the understanding and coordination between the China subsidiaries and the European headquarters.
